Hailing from Nashville, TN, Nicole Nelson is excited to burst on the scene with something new to offer. Her soulful flair expands the traditional pop/rock sound and hosts a universal message. “I want to make music that makes people fall in love with all aspects of life. Some of my music is about things I regret, and some of it is just based on happy memories, but all of it is the story of me learning to follow my own convictions and to find beauty in the aftermath,” says Nelson. Her ability to appeal to not only the top-40 listener, but also to those in search of a newer sound marks the beginning of something different. Even at an early age, Nelson’s love of music was apparent. Studying piano and voice as a child, she eventually learned to play the ukelele, guitar, and drums. Nelson began seriously songwriting in High School. She states, “I would come home from school with song ideas all over my math notes and would just write all night. It was all I thought about.” It became an obsession that follows her to this day. At 22 years of age, Nelson released her single, Hostage, on the fourth of November 2014. It will be the first taste of her full EP, set to release in late fall of this year. Described as the musical love child of Grace Potter, ZZ Ward, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nelson is bound to be a refreshing twist to pop radio listeners everywhere.

And it was here that they w ere discovered, and subsequently developed, by an industry executive, Becki DeVries, from Kompass/Kobalt. With a publishing deal locked down with the fastest growing international music company, Kobalt Music, and a handful of songs recorded w ith respected producer Aaron Sprinkle (One Republic, Anberlin, Eisley), they added a solid live band to bring their sound live to the next level. Together they have exploded on to Nashville’s competitive live scene. After an overwhelming response about their chemistry, they’ve started a journey together, along with award-w inning industry reps and producers. Their debut EP was released March 31st, 2014, and they have been touring cross-country ever since. When they are not performing, the members of dnk. enjoy what any typical Nashville citizen would; extreme trampolining, knitting, glow-in-the-dark roller skating, cooking, and Wino-Wednesdays.

Growing up just north of Boston, MA, Drew has always had music at his backdoor.Iit was always about opening the next door. After drumming as a young teen for a couple bands, Drew then found his voice at 19 and became the singer for a Boston based rock band. It was as a front man, a lyricist, and as a performer where Drew found his calling in life. Letting go of his buried emotions to a crowd was a natural drug that became addictive for Drew. The band quickly gained success locally, and then started playing for big acts such as 3 Doors Down, Papa Roach, Candlebox, etc. Then the band caught the attention of Roadrunner Record’s VP of A&R, Ron Burman, and inked a deal for 7 albums. This is where Drew got introduced to Nashville, and fell in love with the city, Working with a vast amount of high profile producers and songwriters, Drew made a name for himself in the small circles that make up the music industry. After a few years of being under contract, Roadrunner USA folded and only kept their few top selling acts. This all before the band had a chance to release their debut album. Drew then took a chance and moved to Nashville from Boston to build a solo career. After a couple years of deep soul searching, Drew finally got in touch with one of the producers he had worked with previously in Nashville. Working together, they brought Drew’s vision to life in his first solo effort, “The Voices in Me.” Meant to be raw, meaningful, relatable, and feel-good songs, Drew is now on the path to open up to the world through his carefully crafted music.
